2017

Out of Sight Out of Mind in 2017 took place at multiple locations across Edinburgh including; Summerhall (Basement, Café), Central Library Cabinets, Forest Café Roots Gallery, CAPS Office at Argyle House, University of Edinburgh Chaplaincy, Royal Edinburgh Community Hospital Gardens, Edinburgh Napier University Sighthill Study Room, Augustine United Church Windows. This year we showed 270 Artworks made by 165 people who have experience of mental health issues and had 1,544 visitors attend the exhibition. This was also the year that the OOSOOM logo was created!

2017 Poster

Since Out of Sight Out of Minds’ beginning in 2013, Michael Dawson has designed the exhibition poster. Each year, working closely with the Planning Group he takes inspiration from the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival annual theme, which this year was ‘reclaim’.
