Alone (2021)

This monoprint collage conveys feelings of loneliness. It depicts a lone figure in a mountainous landscape. When I have felt suicidal, I have felt lonely, but everything around is engulfing me. The rugged landscape and unpredictable weather in Scotland are a perfect depiction of this. You feel very small as mountains tower over you, and feelings of loneliness and depression can come out of nowhere.
