Documents of Daily Routine: Anxiety
by Tim Kirman
A manifestation of little moments and memories in lockdown. At a time when we were restricted to move freely, travel, or enjoy social interactions it was the smaller moments that punctuated our daily routines and formed our lasting memories. A constantly repeating loop: days became weeks, weeks became months making it increasingly difficult to discern one day from the next.
Documenting the daily routine was a means to keeping myself occupied, a method of managing the creeping and growing anxiety. We no longer experienced life through grand events, such as travel or large gatherings, and our days were punctuated with many small bullet points that previously filled the gaps between. These were now the events that dominated our days.
