Now we're talking

by Rebecca Weightman

That morning was different, I woke up to white hair, white eyebrows and no voice. I'd been through huge amounts of stress and my body just said ‘NO enough’. Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months and before I could talk again eighteen months had passed. I was diagnosed with PTSD. I found my love for photography and the way of looking at objects very different. My images in this exhibition show the way I was feeling and how there was no escape. Over the years things have slowly got better however the lack of ability to talk is never too far away.
