Inspired by the medieval nine herb charm, this piece incorporates three plants used in the herbal treatment of eczema. The spell is to be repeated as you use each plant. The stitches bind the spell and represent the externalisation of the prickling pain caused by the condition. Eczema can be caused by, and flare because of, mental anguish. This creates a perpetual cycle of ill health in the body-mind.
