Scrap

by Eve Watson

The sculpture is titled: ‘Scrap’ and appears to be still and solid, however the influence of light and space on the object can create a sense of fluidity and movement in its form. It is part of a larger series of works which draws inspiration from political legends and stories that can grow and develop over time, with embellishment.

This sculpture is made from glue, resin, varnish, wax and sand. As well as using salvaged scottish sea glass and pottery. Which can be found on most beaches and shores of the cold scottish sea, lochs, rivers and some farm lands.
