Broken Angel

I was inspired to create this piece of Diamond Art after unexpectedly losing my Mum this year. She was truly my best friend and this image reflects how it felt to lose her. Just like the angel, I was down on my knees, head in hands, wondering how on earth I was ever going to get back up from this. It was therapeutic to work on this at the same time as trying to “gather” all the pieces of my heart to carry on and create a life full of happiness, as ultimately I know that’s all she ever wanted for me.
