Journeying on the Soul’s Path

The title of this painting is also a description of what it means to me to engage in art and the creative process. It really is a journey and not having any idea what will emerge. It requires openness and some courage, my part is to make judgements about that in terms of colour, form etc. At the same time, somethings is out of my hands there is a letting go to the creative resource which is quite mysterious. The forms, inner scenes, colours are born from my subconscious, and it is intuitive, a return home, to create is to explore and play, a place of authenticity and connection. Thank God for art!
