Getting to Summerhall
The address is Summerhall Pl, Edinburgh EH9 1PL.
There is only on street paid parking near Summerhall.
The entrance at the front has steps, and there is a ramp at the rear entrance.

Step free access to building
There is step free access to the building from the rear of the building, via a ramp, in the courtyard, which is accessed via Summerhall Square. People needing step free access can be dropped off or picked up with a vehicle at the gate, or in the courtyard itself, however it is not possible to park as the car park is very small. Entry to the courtyard on foot or with a vehicle is via Summerhall Square. If in a vehicle, when you arrive at the gate press the buzzer or phone Reception on 0131 560 1580 and they will open it.
Inside the building
There is lift access to all floors of Summerhall.
Main Hall lift dimensions:
Lift door: 92cm
Lift space: 124cmx188cm
There is exhibition signage around the building and maps on each floor.
There are gender neutral toilets on each floor.
Each day there will be members of the Exhibition Team around the exhibition. They will be wearing Out of Sight Out of Mind badges or tshirts. You can also ask Summerhall staff for help and directions.
Useful Summerhall information
Summerhall is dog friendly.
The café is open Mon – Sun: 9am – 6pm. It is located on the Ground Floor.

You can plan your route, borrow ear defenders, fidget toys, coloured overlays and pick up both Easy Read and large print leaflets.
